Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Glimvid ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Glimvid provides AI-powered short video generation: you upload a product photo, and our AI pipeline produces a platform-ready video with script, voiceover, and captions. The Service is provided "as is" — we make no guarantees about video quality, platform compatibility, or suitability for any particular purpose.

3. Your Account

• You must provide a valid email address to register.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• You may not share your account, use disposable email addresses, or create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for any violation of these Terms.

4. Free Trial & Credits

• New users receive one (1) free video generation credit upon registration, subject to IP-based limits to prevent abuse.
• Each successful video generation consumes one (1) credit.
• If generation fails for technical reasons, the credit is not consumed.
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free trial at any time.

5. Your Content

• You retain ownership of all product photos you upload.
• By uploading content, you grant Glimvid a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to process, modify, and store that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
• You warrant that you own or have the right to use any content you upload, and that it does not infringe third-party rights.
• You may not upload content that is illegal, infringing, harassing, or violates platform policies of TikTok, Instagram, 小红书, or any target distribution platform.

6. Generated Content

• AI-generated videos are produced by automated systems. We do not guarantee that videos will comply with every platform's content policies — you are responsible for reviewing generated content before posting.
• Generated scripts may require minor editing for accuracy and platform compliance.
• You own the videos generated from your content. We claim no ownership over generated output.

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not:

• Use the Service to generate content that is deceptive, fraudulent, or impersonates others.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract our AI models or prompts.
• Use automated tools to create accounts, send requests, or bypass usage limits.
• Generate content involving nudity, violence, hate speech, or illegal activities.
• Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission.

8. Payment & Refunds

• Paid plans (when launched) are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.
• Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• We do not provide refunds for partially used billing periods.
• If a paid generation fails due to our service error, the credit is returned to your account — not refunded as cash.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Glimvid is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including lost revenue, lost data, or platform penalties — arising from your use of the Service.
• Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $100, whichever is greater.
• You agree to indemnify and hold Glimvid harmless from any third-party claims arising from your content or your violation of these Terms.

10. Intellectual Property

Glimvid, our AI models, system prompts, website design, and brand assets are our exclusive intellectual property. These Terms do not grant you any license to our underlying technology beyond using the Service as intended.

11. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may suspend the Service for maintenance, security incidents, or events beyond our control.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. Request account deletion by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account for any violation of these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Singapore, conducted in English. You waive any right to participate in a class action.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-service notice at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
